HOW DID YOU MEET?
Matt and I met through a mutual friend of mine at work. It took him a while to work up the nerve to introduce himself but he did and the rest is history!
HOW DID THE PROPOSAL GO DOWN?
Matt proposed on a catamaran at sunset in Hamilton Island while we were on holiday with family. It was so romantic and it was amazing to be able to pop some champagne with our family to celebrate in such a beautiful place.
HOW WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE WEDDING DRESS SHOPPING?
Incredible. All of the boutiques I went to were fantastic, but Kim blew me away with how warm and inviting she was. I knew the dress was the one as soon as I put it on. From there the experience was seamless from order to pick up!
HOW DID YOU KNOW YOUR GOWN WAS THE ONE?
When I put the dress on I knew right away. It fit beautifully, made me feel incredible, and the look on my best friends face when she saw me in it completely cemented my decision.
WHAT WAS YOUR WEDDING STYLE AND INSPIRATION BEHIND IT?
We had a tiny ceremony with our closest family and friends. We wanted the day to be about nothing but us. We love to hike and love being in nature and found the perfect place to tie the knot out in the national park surrounded by our nearest and dearest.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE MOMENT FROM YOUR WEDDING?
After hiking up to our ceremony spot, standing on top of the rock together knowing that in just minutes we would be married in such a beautiful place. It was a moment unparalleled by anything else we’ve experienced.
WHAT WAS YOUR WEDDING SOUNDTRACK?
Our soundtrack was a country dream! Luke Combs, Tyler Childers, Chris Stapleton - all of our favourites!
WHAT ARE YOUR WORDS OF WISDOM FOR OTHER BRIDES?
Have the wedding that YOU want to have. The day is about nothing but you and the person you are going to marry, make sure your choices reflect that. Buy the dress you love, have the music you love, invite the people you love.. and trust your vendors! They are there to support you.
