Where are Ríva gowns made?

All Ríva gowns are handmade from start to finish in Melbourne, Australia. Every gown undergoes a strict quality review by our design team before being packed and shipped to you.

What does made to order mean?

Each wedding gown is cut and made only when an order is placed. This means that it is made especially for you based on the sizes available in our size chart.

How far in advance do I need to order my gown?

We recommend ordering your gown as soon as you know it’s the one or eight to ten months before your wedding date. If your wedding date is sooner, please contact us to discuss your timeline. We offer a rush service on a limited number of orders each month.

Our fabrics are handpicked and we have a limited supply for each of our designs. As soon as you place your order, we reserve the fabrics and trims for your dress to ensure we can fulfil your order.

Can I customise or alter any of your designs?

We offer some customisations such as extending the train by a set amount. In some instances, we may be able offer a design in a different fabric. For specific requests please contact us.

How do I work out my size?

Our sizes are unique to our brand and have been developed according to our intensive fitting process. Each size is based on a brides bust, waist and hip measurements. If you’re between sizes, select the larger size. Our size chart and a guide on how to measure yourself are available on our Size guide page.

For brides who visit our Melbourne showroom, we will carefully take your measurements and recommend your order size. 

Can I change my order?

We cut the fabrics for your gown shortly after receiving your order. Get in touch with us as soon as possible. You can change your order as long as the fabrics for your dress have not been cut.

Do you do alterations in-house?

We don't do alterations in-house, however we can recommend our favourite alteration specialists to our brides located in Melbourne.

Do you have stockists?

We sell our collection exclusively through our online shop or at our Melbourne showroom. As such, we don't have stockists at this time.
